Why attend a support group?
Support groups offer hope, impart information, and can be an invaluable source of feedback. Although groups are not a substitute for individual psychotherapy, nutrition counseling, and medical treatment- they are an affordable addition that can enhance treatment. Many of the groups listed below are offered as a free resource to the community. Groups can be joined at any time during the recovery process– from the first step to the final stage.
