Eating Disorder Therapy LA is a specialized outpatient eating disorder psychotherapy practice in the heart of Los Angeles California. Under the direction of Lauren Muhlheim, Psy.D., FAED, CEDS-S, Clinical Psychologist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, we offer individual psychotherapy for eating disorders primarily, as well as anxiety and depression.

We provide treatment to people of all genders, ages, ethnicities, and body sizes with eating disorders. We are anti-diet and adhere to Health at Every Size (R) principles. We accept several insurances and have some low-cost treatment options. We are proud to be one of 3 US-certified FBT clinicians who accept Medicaid and part of the one-third of certified FBT providers who accept any insurance.

Our specialty is in the provision of evidence-based treatment for adolescents and adults with eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and Other Specified Eating Disorder (OSFED; formerly known as EDNOS or Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified). We also treat Swallowing, Choking, and Vomiting Phobias.
