Caroline Kurkcuoglu

My passion to work with eating disorders started when I was getting my psychodynamic training working with mother's of very young children. I noticed how their dicomfort with food and their own bodies reflected on their parenting. Women struggle with food and body image issues all around the world. My diverse background and being an immigrant from Turkey has allowed me to experience this while treating a wide range of population from different areas of the world. I am a licensed Mariage and Famiy Therapist. I have been practicing since 1992 treating eating disorders, early trauma, PTSD and relationship issues.

I have received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CSUN in 1989, and my Master of Arts in Marriage Family and Child Therapy from California Family Study Center in 1991.

I am certified in the Psychoanalytic Treatment of Eating Disorders.

I am fluent in Armenian and Turkish and I provide treatment in both languages very comfortably.
